BIOGRAPHY

Mike is a highly accomplished Systems Engineering Manager, who has worked in challenging product development roles for 20+ years, imparting his knowledge within Healthcare, Space and Defence Industries. Most recently working as the Head of Systems and Requirements Engineering at the market leader for medical diagnostics, leading engineers working across a diverse range of highly complex projects. He established and led numerous initiatives for maturing the SE competence of the organisation and has a solid reputation for meeting targets. His previous experience spans mechanical, electrical, technological, software and optical engineering, giving him an extensive understanding of the main engineering disciplines. Enjoying a challenge, Mike's passion lies in technical problem solving where he can apply his creative and resourceful mind. As an adept leader with exceptional communication skills, he effectively motivates others to achieve and perform. In addition, Mike has designed and implemented Systems Engineering training courses, training hundreds of engineers from a broad spectrum of backgrounds.
