COURSE DESCRIPTION

The systems reliability course provides in depth knowledge and training on the practical analysis and modelling of system reliability. The participants will firstly be introduced to the relationships between reliability, availability and maintainability. They will learn how to manage availability and maintainability while analysing and determining the system’s reliability. The participants will not only learn about the concepts but will deepen their understanding in workshops.​

  • Reliability Block Diagrams
  • Fault Tree Analysis
  • Workshop – Reliability analysis using FTA and RBD
  • Software reliability
  • RAMS
  • Using MBSE to support reliability analysis

Day 3

  • Human factors and reliability
  • Reliability with HUMS and BIT
  • Workshop – Implementing HUMS/BIT
  • Assuring System Reliability
  • Providing Evidence of System Reliability
  • Review and reflect
